Courage Faith & Action defined by "internet" & Rusty Davis.



1. Courage= the ability to do something that frightens one. Strength in the face of grief.

Words associated with Courage are: bravery, valor, fearlessness, nerve, daring, audacity, grit, boldness, heroism, gallantry.

2. Faith= complete confidence in someone (could be self) or something. and/or Strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

Words associated with Faith are: acceptance, belief, confidence, conviction, hope, loyalty, truth, allegiance.

3. Action = act, deed mean something done. Action applies especially to the doing, act to the result of the doing. An Action usually lasts through some time and consists of more than one act.

Words associated with Action are: activity, deal, force, movement, plan, process, functioning, doing.

 ( A little more on action.)  I would like to quote Rusty Davis, an old cowboy who's ranch I was lucky enough to live on for a while when I was at Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Tx. When you may have found yourself talking about what you were "gonna do" back then, Russ would say, "Well son, you got the talken part done." For me, that has summed up Action ever since.

The CFA=D (+/-) Feed Back Loop & other thoughts.  Courage is the seed which allows the idea to come into being or thought. Faith is the nourishment of the idea that allows it time to develop during the process.  Thinking on this today.  As people, circumstances, and just the world we pass by, through or interact with goes, we have little to say about the way those things may come towards us, at us, or to us, we do however control our thoughts, reactions, and feelings. We choose to act or react a certain way.  A (acceptance) + G (gratitude) = P (peace) —————————————————-                      External Influence  I believe this may live in the courage category? Discussion on Courage As we move forward we will begin to examine the three key journey components individually that make up CFA=D Journey Model. (+/-) Understanding these components as individual parts, how they function, and specifically how we individually are able to monitor and influence them to a greater or lessor extent during our journeys is all important to CFA=D (+/-) being a useful working tool in our lives.
